JEE Advanced: Candidates not allowed to bring analog watches, handbags, wallets to exam centre
The entrance test for admissions to IITs will be conducted on Sunday. The paper- I will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and paper - II from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm
Hyderabad: Students appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced scheduled for Sunday are prohibited from wearing analog watches, carrying handbags and wallets into the centres.
The candidates have been advised to wear footwear like chappals and sandals only and not to wear charm/tabiz, rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pin, chain/necklace, pendant, badge, brooch, hairpin, hair band and clothes with big buttons.
Students are allowed to carry an admit card, original photo identity card (Aadhaar, School ID, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Passport or PAN card), pen, pencil and eraser, and transparent water bottle.
The test will be conducted in 13 test cities, including Hyderabad, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Kodad, and Warangal, in the State. Candidates must report to the centre at 7 am on the day of the examination.
After identity verification, frisking and biometric capturing, candidates will be allowed inside the examination hall and they need to occupy their seat by 8.30 am for paper – I and 2 pm for paper – II.
Examination timing:
Paper – I: 9 am to 12 noon
Paper – II: 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm
Prohibited items
Smart, digital, programmable, or analog watches, timepieces
Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands, smart glasses or any other electronic gadgets
Any printed, blank or handwritten papers, log tables, writing pads, scales, geometry/pencil boxes, pouches, calculators, pen drives, electronic pens, wallets, handbags, goggles or similar items
