Jilted youngster slits his throat, records video, hospitalised in Asifabad
Wankidi Inspector D Sudhakar said that the youngster was Pendur Akhil, a native of Wankidi mandal centre and a holder of D Ed course.
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A jilted youngster attempted to kill himself by slitting his throat and recorded the act on his mobile phone after a girl reportedly rejected his marriage proposal in Wankidi mandal centre on Friday. Alerted by his friends, the police rushed him to a hospital. His health condition was said to be stable.
Wankidi Inspector D Sudhakar said that the youngster was Pendur Akhil, a native of Wankidi mandal centre and a holder of D Ed course. Akhil took the extreme step as he was unable to bear the rejection by a girl whom he wanted to marry.
He shot the act using his mobile phone and shared it with his friends who alerted the police. He was profusely bleeding in the clip. The police swiftly responded and traced his location. They rushed him to a hospital in Asifabad.
