JNTU-Hyderabad College of Engineering students land plum jobs
Three students-Babbula Spoorthi Raj, Lakireddy Sai Ashrith Reddy, and Mohammed Murtuza of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) department, JNTU-H College of Engineering, Hyderabad, have been placed in Microsoft with a CTC of Rs. 41 lakh per annum.
Hyderabad: Students of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H) College of Engineering, Hyderabad, have bagged plum job offers in the placement session held for 2020-21.
Three students-Babbula Spoorthi Raj, Lakireddy Sai Ashrith Reddy, and Mohammed Murtuza of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) department, JNTU-H College of Engineering, Hyderabad, have been placed in Microsoft with a CTC of Rs.41 lakh per annum. This package has been highest in 2020-21 placement season at the college.
Similarly, Ameesha from the CSE department received a job offer from Walmart with a pay package of Rs. 21 lakh per annum.
Seven students got placed in Oracle with Rs.11 lakh per annum, nine candidates got in Pega Systems with Rs.10.4 lakh per year and 13 students were offered jobs in LTI with Rs. 8.5 lakh per annum etc., the College said on Thursday.
About 55 UG and PG students from Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy and Civil engineering departments were selected by the core companies-Hero Moto Corp, Hyundai Transys Private Limited, MTAR and Aurobindo with CTC between Rs.7 lakh per annum to Rs.9 lakh per annum. In addition, more than 200 students were placed in the companies like TCS, Accenture, Infosys and Wipro etc.
The 2020-21 placement season at JNTU-H College of Engineering, Hyderabad, has been fruitful in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic situation, it said.
The college was proud of the recent achievement of one of its alumni, Sripad Shivananda, batch of 1995 Mechanical department, who was listed by Forbes among 50 Innovative Technology Leaders Transforming Business for a Radically Different World, the college added.
