Hyderabad: Kerala put up an improved performance thanks to a fine century by Jobin P Joby (120 batting, 257b, 12×4) as it reached 322 for four in the second innings after conceding the vital first-innings lead to Hyderabad on the third day of the Cooch Behar Trophy (under-19) cricket championship third-round match at NFC Ground here on Wednesday.

The scores: At NFC: Kerala 268 in 74.3 overs & 322/4 in 86 overs (Jobin P Joby 120 batting, Thomas Mathew 67, Manav Krishna 76 batting) vs Hyderabad 382 in 80.3 overs.
