Jogu Ramanna flays Congress govt for not allocating sufficient funds to Adilabad in State Budget

Adilabad: Former minister Jogu Ramanna said that the annual budget presented by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was just a number game, causing injustice to the district.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, he flayed the government for ignoring the district in the budget by not allocating sufficient funds. He asked local public representatives, who failed to question the government for its indifference attitude, to change their approach and faulted Adilabad MLA Payal Shankar for not raising the injustice in Assembly though he claimed good relations with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
The former minister slammed Shankar for neglecting welfare and welfare of the district. He said that the government did not earmark the funds for completing the ambitious Chanaka-Korata inter-state project. He reminded that Revanth Reddy failed to allocate funds to keep his poll promise to construct 3,500 double-bed-room houses in every Assembly constituency.
BRS leaders Ijjagiri Narayana, town president Ajay and others were present.
