Jogu Ramanna slams govt over RTC driver’s death
Former minister Jogu Ramanna criticised the State government over the death of an RTC driver, alleging negligence in addressing staff demands. He sought compensation, a job for the family, and assured support from the BRS.

Adilabad: Former minister Jogu Ramanna termed the death of RTC driver Shankar Goud a “murder committed by the State”. In a statement, Ramanna expressed concern over Shankar’s death. He opined that the driver was forced to end his life as the government failed to resolve the legitimate demands of TGSRTC staffers. He demanded that the government extend all support to Shankar’s kin. He expressed condolences to the bereaved family members of the driver.
The former minister urged the government to extend compensation to Shankar’s family, besides providing a government job. He said that the BRS would stand by the family.
