Hyderabad: With Covid cases increasing in Karnataka, the bordering villages of Jogulamba-Gadwal district are barricading entry points to prevent passage into the villages from Karnataka side.
Makeshift barricades were put up at Musaldoddi under Pagunta Gram panchayat limit by the police on Friday.
Pagunta Sarpanch Subhashini Reddy said the decision was taken in view of the lockdown imposed in the State and as a means to contain the spread of Corona virus.
She also appealed to the villagers not to step out of their houses and also not to head towards Karnataka villages.
