Jubilee Hills by-poll: First round of counting is over, Congress leads with BRS close on the heels

In the first round of Jubilee Hills by-election counting, Congress leads with 8,926 votes, while BRS trails closely with 8,864 votes, giving Congress an early lead of 62 votes. BJP secured 150 votes. The second round of counting is underway.

Hyderabad: The first round of counting concluded with Congress leading and BRS mounting a neck-to-neck fight.

Counting officials reported that Congress secured the highest number of votes in the initial tally, while BRS remained close behind.

In the first round, the Congress party secured 8,926 votes, while the BRS received 8,864 votes, giving the Congress an early lead of 62 votes. The BJP secured 150 votes in the Shaikpet division, according to the preliminary information.

District Election Officer, R V Karnan will announce the first round’s results shortly. Meanwhile, the second round of counting has begun.
