Hyderabad: Elevating the by poll campaign pitch, candidates from the major political parties intensified their outreach among the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency here on Wednesday.
With three weeks remaining until the by poll scheduled for November 11, the candidates engaged in door-to-door campaigns, small rallies, and in the colonies travelled in motorcades.
The campaign mainly focused on the morning hours and the candidates and supporters sought to catch the voters before they left for work. Consequently, the busy hours were before 9 am in Borabanda, Rahmath Nagar, Shaikpet, Erragadda, Venkatagiri, Krishnagar, and adjoining areas, while the day continued with less intense campaigning.
BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha went door-to-door in Shaikpet division and interacted with voters in Sidhi Vinayak Nagar and Vinobha Nagar. In her interactions, she explained the Congress party’s failures in implementing six guarantees and distributed ‘Baki Cards’ (debt cards). A large motorcade accompanied the BRS candidate, playing folk songs praising KCR’s key achievements.
Meanwhile, BRS in-charge of Srinagar Colony and MLC Naveen Kumar Reddy participated in the door-to-door campaign in Srinagar Colony, urging voters to support BRS and secure Maganti Sunitha’s victory with a large majority.
