Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police arrested two employees of overseas consultancy ‘Trivial Chapter’, for allegedly duping job aspirants on pretext of sending them abroad on good jobs.

The arrested are Lanka Nirupama, vice president and Mamidi Arun Raj, regional manager.

According to the police, the company collected huge amounts from the foreign job aspirants, assuring placements in Greece, Italy and Serbia. “To gain the victims’ trust, they provided fake ‘work authorisation’, letters generated through online templates,” said Jubilee Hills police.

Eight members of the gang, including the founder, CEO and visa department head, are absconding.
