Jyothi Joshi, former team manager of International Women’s Cricket matches, no more

Prof Jyothi Joshi, a well-known sporting personality of yesteryears, who was also the manager of Indian women's team for international cricket matches, passed away in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Former head and principal of Department of Physical Education in Osmania University, Prof Jyothi Joshi passed away here on Tuesday night. Prof Joshi was a member of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh and Indian team manager for the international women’s cricket matches. She was also a former secretary of the Andhra Prdesh Cricket Association.

Prof Rajesh Kumar, Head of department of Physical Education, Osmania University and president of International Federation of Physical Education, Fitness and Sports Science Association condoled her death. He said the sporting fraternity lost a good mentor in the death of Jyothi Joshi.
