Jyothi Yarraji’s IFAM gold hailed by Andhra athletics bodies

The Visakhapatnam District Athletics Association and Andhra Pradesh Athletics Association congratulated Olympian Jyothi Yarraji after she won the women's 100m hurdles gold at IFAM Oordegem in Belgium with a time of 12.85 seconds, boosting her preparations for the 2026 Asian Games

Hyderabad: The Visakhapatnam District Athletics Association (VDAA) and the Andhra Pradesh Athletics Association (APAA) have congratulated Olympian Jyothi Yarraji, who hails from Visakhapatnam, on winning the gold medal in the women’s 100m hurdles at the International Flanders Athletics Meeting (IFAM Oordegem 2026) held in Belgium.

“Jyothi clocked 12.85 seconds to secure the gold medal, a performance close to her national record and an excellent boost ahead of the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan,” the VDAA said in a media release on Monday.

The District Sports Authority of Visakhapatnam also congratulated Jyothi and wished her continued success in upcoming international competitions.
