Kakinada: A couple jumped into the Godavari river along with their two children and committed suicide. Relatives of Satish, 34, his wife Sandhya, 28, Jaswant, 4, and Jaisridurga, 2, natives of Mogalikuduru village in Mamidikuduru mandal of East Godavari district a couple of days back lodged a complaint with Palakollu police that the family went missing.
Police during search operations, found a motorcycle, and clothes of children on the Chinchinada bridge in Yalamanchili mandal and later the body of Jaisridurga was washed ashore near a resort. Sandhya had left a suicide note holding her close relatives responsible for the suicide pact. Investigation is on.
