Kakinada Kings crush Simhadri Vizag Lions by 71 runs in Andhra Premier League
An unbeaten 64 by M. Yuvan helped Kakinada Kings post 219/5 before bowlers M. Anjaneyulu and G. Manish restricted Simhadri Vizag Lions to 148, sealing a comfortable 71-run victory in the Andhra Premier League at Visakhapatnam.

Hyderabad: Kakinada Kings scored a comfortable, 71-run win against Simhadri Vizag Lions in the Andhra Premier League T-20 cricket championship at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday night.
Batting first, Kakinada scored 219 for five in 20 overs with M. Yuvan (64 n.o., 34b, 2×4, 6×6) being the top-scorer.
In reply, Vizag Lions scored 148 with M. Anjaneyulu (three for 25) and G. Manish (two for 22) being the main wicket-takers.
The organisers had cancelled the scheduled cultural programme to mark the inauguration in view of the fire accident in the Visakha Steel
Plant.
Mr. Ghanta Srinivasa Rao, MLA, inaugurated the event in the presence of APL Governing Council members including chairman Sujaya Krishna Rangarao.
