Terms PC Ghose Commission's probe biased; says Revanth Reddy government acting with malicious intent and conspiracy

Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha condemned the notice served to party president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao as part of the Justice PC Ghose Commission’s probe into the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS). She blamed the Congress government for the notice, terming it politically motivated.

Reacting to the government’s decision, Kavitha charged the Revanth Reddy government for acting with malicious intent and conspiracy. She reminded that Chandrashekhar Rao was a public leader who risked his life for Telangana statehood.


“The Kaleshwaram project is his vision to transform Telangana into an agricultural hub by bringing one crore acres under cultivation. It was built to provide Godavari river water to parched lands and secure the future of generations,” she said.

She called the Commission’s probe biased and exuded confidence that truth would prevail in time. “Justice will be served, and every fact will come to light,” she asserted.
