The Chief Minister will inaugurate new Integrated Collectorate Complex and the District Police Office on Sunday
Kamareddy: The district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the inauguration of the new Integrated Collectorate Complex and the District Police Office (DPO) by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday.
Since officials have completed all the pending works, the staff of various departments will shift furniture, files and other material to the new building from Monday. The three-storeyed Collectorate Complex was constructed at a cost of over Rs.64.2 crore in 25 acres while the two storeyed DPO building at a cost of over Rs.15 crore in 30 acres with sufficient parking facilities.
District Collector A. Sharat and other officials already visited the new buildings and reviewed the arrangements made in connection with the visit of the Chief Minister. Keeping in view the visit of the Chief Minister, the bomb disposal squad examined the new buildings with the help of a dogs’ squad.
The Roads and Buildings (R&B) department has constructed the Collectorate Complex near the office of district Superintendent of Police (SP) to accommodate all the government departments. “The new Collectorare office building is now ready to occupy,” an official of Roads and Buildings (R&B) department said, adding that the construction work was started in 2017.
The Telangana State Police Housing Corporation Limited (TSPHCL) has constructed the DPO building with all facilities including a dedicated command and control centre.
