Kamareddy SI held in cricket betting case

Kamareddy: ACB sleuths arrested Kamareddy Sub-Inspector Govind for his involvement in cricket betting on Thursday.

Earlier, ACB officials held Circle Inspector of the same station, I Jagadish, on similar charges. On Tuesday, officials found Rs 34,40,200 cash and 182.560 grams of gold ornaments in the bank locker of Jagadish.

ACB also grilled Kamareddy DSP Lakshminarayana in the following case and conducted searches at his house and office. Kamareddy SI Govind was co-operating with CI Jagadish in cricket betting case, said officials. ACB officials arrested SI from Kamareddy police station on Thursday and took him into custody.
