Kothagudem: BRS party district president Rega Kantha Rao has extended support to the woman excise constable who attempted suicide after being allegedly harassed by a female CI at Kothagudem prohibition and excise station recently.
He spoke to Excise Superintendent Janaiah on the phone and wanted a thorough investigation into the incident and to take immediate action to deliver injustice to the affected constable.
Kantha Rao said that the officials should work impartially in this matter and resolve the problem immediately. He also spoke to the woman constable on the phone and assured the staff that he would stand by them and that no one should worry about the matter.
He regretted that ten staff boycotted their duties at once and said proper action needs to be taken to prevent such incidents from recurring.
