Karan Johar pens emotional note for mom who underwent major surgeries 

The ‘Shershaah’ producer took to his Instagram handle and posted a video, with an emotional note.

Karan Johar, who started his Monday with good vibes, welcomes his mother Hiroo Johar – who had undergone two major surgeries in the recent past – home. In the video, shot by Karan himself, he is heard asking his mom how she feels now, to which Hiroo responds and thanks all the doctors and medical staff for taking care of her and giving her the best.

The ‘Shershaah’ producer took to his Instagram handle and posted a video, with an emotional note. He wrote: “My Mother … My super hero! She has had two massive surgeries in the lockdown…. In the past 8 months… Her Spinal Fusion Surgery ( the brilliance of DR BHOJRAJ) and her right knee replacement ( the Genius of DR MANIAR ) She endured both surgeries with her indomitable spirit and a sense of humour…. She is nearly 79 but has the spirit and zest for life as a millennial does! I am so so proud of her …. I love you so much Mama! Your babies are waiting at a home with a cake and a song!(sic)”

Singer Shreya Ghoshal immediately commented, “Loads of love and prayers for your well-being”. Apart from her, quite a few celebrities wished her a spread recovery.
