Karimnagar: 12-year-old boy drowns in well while plucking fruits

Eernala Raju, a 12-year-old Class VI student from Mallareddypalli, Veenavanka mandal, drowned in a well while plucking Indian jujube fruits on Tuesday evening. Police recovered the body on Wednesday and have registered a case for investigation.

Karimnagar: A 12-year-old boy from Mallareddypalli in Veenavanka mandal, Eernala Raju, drowned in a well after he fell in it while plucking Indian jujube fruits from a tree.

Raju, a Class VI student, accidentally fell into the well on Tuesday evening while plucking the fruits from a tree adjacent to it and drowned.

The body was retrieved from the well on Wednesday.

Police have registered a case and are investigating. The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.
