Karimnagar: On the eve of National Mathematics Day, Alphores Educational Institution organised ‘Alphores Ganith Fest’ at its e-Techno school in Kothapalli here on Tuesday.
Additional Collector Garima Agarwal, Padma Shri awardee Sribhashyam Vijayasarathi and others participated in the programme.
On the occasion, Sribhashyam Vijayasarathi was felicitated by Additional Collector and Alphores institutions chairman Dr V Narender Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, the Additional Collector opined that mathematics plays a vital role in all fields, and added that it would help students to excel in all competitive exams if they gain hold in the subject.
Informing that the talent of students in Mathematics would be measured at different stages, she said a number of exams would be conducted depending on the subject. She cracked IAS by learning techniques in mathematics, she said. Sribhashyam Vijayasarathi advised the students to focus on studies right from primary stage and follow instructions of parents.
