Karimnagar athlete Naga Chaitra qualifies for CBSE Nationals with gold, silver

Akshara International School’s Ch. Naga Chaitra impressed at the Open State-level CBSE Cluster VII Athletics Meet, winning gold in the 800m and silver in the 400m. The Karimnagar athlete’s performance earned her qualification for the CBSE Nationals.

Hyderabad:  Ch. Naga Chaitra of Akshara International School (Karimnagar) put up an impressive show bagging a gold in the 800m and a silver in the 400m events of the Open State-level CBSE Clusters VII athletics meet here.

This performance helped Chaitra to qualify for the CBSE Nationals. The 16-year-old Naga Chaitra had earlier won a silver in the 4 x 400m relay event of the School Games Federation State athletics meet held at Gymkhana Ground in the under-17 category and another silver in the
12th Telangana State youth athletics meet in Hanumakonda in the 1000m event in the under-18 category representing Karimnagar in the under-18 category.
