Karimnagar: Collector Pamela Satpathy wanted the students from the district to excel in national and international sports competitions.
Collector distributed shoes to the students of regional sports school after inaugurating the library here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, she said that presently, there was a shortfall for sports persons in the society. It was possible to get great honor as well as jobs if the students excelled in sports besides education.
She advised the students to strive hard and go ahead by utilizing every opportunity. Advising the officials to screen a message oriented movie in sports school every week, she assured to provide sports equipment and clothes very soon.
Additional Collector Praful Deshai, DYSO Srinivas Goud, Nehru Yuva Kendra coordinator Rambabu, sports school headmaster Leela Prasad and students were present.
