Karimnagar DCCB enhances retirement age, launches health insurance policies for staff
Incidentally, the Karimnagar DCCB has emerged as the first cooperative bank in the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states to announce enhancement of retirement age and health insurance coverage to all its employees.

Karimnagar: The Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank has decided to provide “Covid Kavach,” a specific health insurance scheme to cover the treatment of Covid cases for all the DCCB bank employees.
The KDCCB’s initiative comes in the wake of a surge in Covid-19 positive cases in the State.
Buoyed by the gross profits of Rs 51.15 crore during the financial year 2020-2021, the KDCCB also announced several sops to the employees of the bank as well as the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) of erstwhile Karimnagar district including enhancement of retirement age from the existing 58 years to 61.

The KDCCB held its first board of directors meeting of this financial year under the chairmanship of its DCCB and TSCAB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao, CEO N Satyanarayana Rao, TSCAB DGM and nodal officer K Annapurna, DCO Manoj Kumar and other directors in Karimnagar town on Monday.
The meeting unanimously passed a resolution announcing enhancement of retirement age to all the DCCB employees of integrated Karimnagar district, health insurance scheme to the 480 Karimnagar DCCB employees and their dependents.
Similarly, the DCCB had also announced insurance coverage to more than 700 employees of 128 PACS in the integrated Karimnagar district.
