Karimnagar: Gangadhara police trace ten tolas of lost gold ornaments

Karimnagar: The Gangadhara police traced ten tolas of gold ornaments that a woman lost within a few hours and handed over the ornaments to her.
According to police, a resident of Laxmidevipalli of Gangadhara mandal, Hena Parveen along with her mother came to Karimnagar town on Wednesday. After completing work, she returned to the village in an autorickshaw and got down at home but forgot her bag in the vehicle. Realising this after some time, she immediately rushed to the police station and lodged a complaint. She, in her complaint, informed that there were ten tolas of gold ornaments in the bag.
Responding immediately, Sub-Inspector Narender Reddy alerted his staff, who traced the autorickshaw within a few hours with the help of cybercrime and forensic experts. Later, the bag along with the ten tolas of gold ornaments was handed over to Hena Parveen.
On Thursday, Commissioner of Police Abhishek Mohanty appreciated SI Narender Reddy, head constables Rajaiah and Krishna Reddy, constables Manikya Reddy and Pradeep for tracing the gold ornaments within a few hours. Besides rewards, appreciation certificates were given to the cops.
