Karimnagar: BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar assured to sanction double bedroom houses and provide insurance facility to all eligible cable operators as well as hamali workers.
Minister organised a meeting with cable operators and hamali workers in Huzurabad on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Kamalakar said that the government was committed to protecting the interests of cable operators and hamali workers. Terming Chief Minister K Chandrashekahar Rao as a great humanitarian, he said the Chief Minister would always be ready to help the needy and poor.
Talking about the development of Huzurabad constituency, the Minister said former Minister Eatala Rajender had never asked the Chief Minister to sanction funds for the development of the constituency. As a result, problems have been piled up in the segment. It was only because of the negligence of Rajender.
Now, the State government has taken up various developmental programmes. The welfare schemes, which are being implemented in Telangana, have not been seen in any of BJP and Congress-ruled States. Minister wanted the people to take part in the development of the State by extending support to the state government.
