No compromise on quality of works: Karimnagar Mayor
The Mayor laid foundation for roads and drainage works taken up with Rs 14 lakh in 52nd division
Karimnagar: Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao on Sunday made it clear that there was no question of compromising on the quality of Smart City as well as Municipal developmental works. All workers should be completed on fast track mode without compromising on the quality.
The Mayor laid foundation for roads and drainage works taken up with Rs 14 lakh in 52nd division here. Later, he also inspected smart city roads in 34th division. He instructed RV consultancy representatives and contractors to complete works as early as possible without compromising on the quality.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Rao said works of press club road in front of collectorate office were completed. Besides storm water drainage, the works of other drainages in Mukarampura would also be completed.
Informing that local people brought his notice about drainage problem in Shalimar smart city road, he promised to solve the problem by discussing with RV consultancy officials.
There should be a supervision of municipal officials on smart city as well as municipal developmental work, Mayor instructed.
