Karimnagar: Officials instructed to solve majority of cases at Lok Adalat

Karimnagar: District Judge Priyadarshini has instructed officials to take steps to solve a majority of cases in Mega Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on September 11. The Judge interacted with police, revenue, excise and prisons department officials of erstwhile Karimnagar district through a coordinated video conference on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Priyadarshini said the aim of conducting the lok adalat was to solve cases through compromise. So, police should try to solve a number of cases through compromise by convincing both sides. If the cases were solved, a number of pending cases in police stations would be declined.


Instructing police to complete the investigation of pending cases within the time frame, she advised the cops to consult her if there was any delay in getting CC numbers for already charge sheet filed cases. Kudge also assured to solve problems regarding courts by examining them if the issues were brought to her notice. She wanted the police to implement warrants as early as possible.

Additional DCP (Administration) G Chandramohan, CCRB ACP Mohan Lal, Inspectors Rajesh and T Murali and officials of other departments also participated in coordinated video conference.
