Karimnagar: Additional Collector G V Shyamprasad Lal on Friday assured farmers, who cultivated fine variety of paddy crop, not to worry about the procurement since the government was ready to purchase the entire produce.

Fine variety of paddy will be procured at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs 1,888 announced by the State government. Farmers, who sold their crop in the early days, would also be given bonus if the government announced an additional bonus in the coming days, he assured. He asked farmers to bring their produce to paddy procurement centres (PPCs) and sell the crop.
