Karimnagar: Karimnagar Two Town police on Monday arrested a habitual burglar and recovered Rs 5 lakh in cash and ten grams of gold ornaments from him. Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam, in a statement, explained the modus operandi of the burglar, Boddula Ugender from Durshad of Karimnagar Rural mandal.

Ugender entered the Sri Chaitanya College office by breaking the lock in the Mankammathota area in the early hours of April 26 and stole Rs 5 lakh in cash and a gold chain. He hid them on the premises of his house. Based on reliable information, Inspector Srujan Reddy and his team conducted a search at Ugender’s house and recovered the stolen property.
