Karimnagar: Satavahana University Vice Chancellor S Mallesham released a book titled “Economics of Education” at a programme held on the campus premises on Wednesday. Dr Koduri Srivani, Head of Economics Department, Satavahana University, authored the book.
Speaking on the occasion, the V-C said that the impact of economics on education system, money being spent on education by governments as well as families, their impacts and benefits, steps to be taken by the governments to strengthen education system and issues need to be incorporated in National Education Policy-2020, were explained in the book.
Srivani said that the book would be useful for undergraduate, post-graduate and research students.
Registrar Varaprasad, V-C OSD Dr V Ramesh, Arts College principal Jafer Jari, faculty members Dr Padmavathi, Dr Surepalli Sujatha, Dr Umen Begum, and others were present.
