Karimnagar: A teenager Dara Kranthi (18) drowned in a check dam near Veenavanka mandal headquarters on Tuesday. According to villagers, Kranthi, who left home, was found dead in the check dam. Parents Rajeshwar Rao and Swapna broke down over the death of their ward. Knowing about the incident, police rushed the spot and began investigation by registering the case. Body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.
