Karimnagar: TRS workers donate blood to mark KCR’s birthday

Karimnagar: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s birthday celebrations were held on a grand scale across the erstwhile Karimnagar district on Wednesday.
As part of a three-day celebration, Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders and workers donated blood on the second day. Jagtial MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar donated blood in a programme held in Jagtial district headquarters hospital.
Meanwhile, Karimnagar district libraries chairman Enugu Ravinder Reddy, TRS State leader Veerla Venkateshwar Rao, MPPs, ZPTCs and sarpanches donated blood in a programme held in Kurikyala of Gangadhara mandal.
On the other hand, to mark the 68th birthday of Chandrashekhar Rao, 68 TRS activists donated blood in Karimnagar. Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao, TRS district president GV Ramakrishna Rao, deputy mayor Challa Swaroopa Rani and others participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Rao said that the Chief Minister’s birthday was being celebrated as a festival across the State since the latter developed Telangana on all fronts during the last eight years.
Chandrashekhar Rao instilled confidence among the public by introducing various welfare schemes. Welfare schemes such as Pensions, Kalyanalaxmi, Shadhi Mubhark, Rythu Banhu, Rythu Bima, Dalit Bandhu, 24 hours free current, farm loan waiver, KCR kit, Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya and others have become a role model to the country.
In a positive development, political parties have included Telangana schemes in their election manifestos in five states, wherein the assembly polls are scheduled. It was a great honor to the state that Telangana schemes have been followed by other states.
To put the country on a growth track by introducing various schemes, Chandrashekhar Rao should enter into national politics in the coming future and play a vital role in national politics by securing higher positions, he wished.
MLAs Ch Ramesh Babu (Vemulawada), Korukanti Chander (Ramagundam), D Manohar Reddy (Peddapalli) and Sunke Ravi Shankar (Choppadandi) participated in blood donation camps in their respective segments.
