Karimnagar: Woman dies after fall while trying to escape monkeys

A 50-year-old woman died in Karimnagar district after falling and sustaining a head injury while trying to chase away a group of monkeys outside her house. She was rushed to hospital but was declared brought dead.

Karimnagar: In a tragic incident, a 50-year-old woman died while trying to escape from a group of monkeys at Lingapur village in Shankarapatnam mandal on Wednesday.

According to villagers, Kesireddy Vimala was working in front of her house when a group of monkeys suddenly arrived at the spot. Alarmed by their presence, she tried to chase them away by threatening them.
In the process, she lost balance and fell from the steps, sustaining a severe head injury. Family members rushed her to the Huzurabad Government Area Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
