Karimnagar woman who attempted suicide with children dies during treatment
A 30-year-old woman died while undergoing treatment after allegedly attempting suicide by consuming pesticides along with her two children at their Rekurthy residence in Karimnagar. The children remain in serious condition, and the police have launched an investigation
Karimnagar: A 30-year-old woman, Kuthadi Sherisha, who allegedly attempted suicide along with her two children, died while undergoing treatment at a hospital here on Tuesday.
According to the police, Sherisha allegedly consumed pesticides after administering the same to her children, Hasini and Harshith, at their residence in Rekurthy on Monday.
Family members rushed the trio to a hospital, where Sherisha succumbed during treatment on Tuesday. The condition of the children is stated to be serious.
A native of Yellareddypet in Rajanna-Sircilla district, Sherisha had married Kishore of Rekurthy five years ago.
The police registered a case and took up an investigation.
