Sangareddy: A couple from Karnataka died in a road accident on NH-65 at Kothur (D) village in Kohir Mandal on Friday evening.
The victims were identified as Nagaiah Swamy (47) and his wife Jayashri (42), residents of Kasimpur in Udgir Taluk in Bidar district. The couple was going on a moped when they accidentally slipped off. A speeding car coming behind ran over them. The death was instant for them.
The Kohir Police have registered a case. The bodies have been shifted to Area Hospital Zaheerabad for postmortem.
