Karnataka wins team title at Para National Swimming Championship

Karnataka won the team championship at the Para National Swimming Championship held at Gachibowli Aquatics Complex, Hyderabad. Telangana’s Srinikesh Kiran Kashtawar claimed the junior boys individual title, while winners were declared across men, women, junior and sub-junior categories

Karnataka wins team title at Para National Swimming Championship

Hyderabad: Karnataka won the team championship in the Para National Swimming Championship at the Gachibowli Aquatics Complex here on Tuesday.

Srinikesh Kiran Kashtawar of Telangana won the individual title in the junior boys category.


Team championship: 1. Karnataka, 2. Maharashtra, 3.. Rajasthan.
Individual championships: 
Men – Himanshu Nandal ( Haryana).
Women – Sufia Begam Moila (West Bengal).
Junior Boys Srinikesh Kiran Kashatwar (Telangana)
Junior Girls  – Sonam Mallu Patil (Karnataka)
Sub Junior Boys –  Punja Pratap  (Bihar)
Sub Junior Girls  – A.Varsha (Tamil Nadu).
