Karimnagar: Condemning the BJP’s attack on Karimnagar MLA’s camp office, Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy alleged that both the union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar and the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy hatched a conspiracy to attack him.
Speaking to reporters after the attack, the MLA said that it was a deliberate attempt to attack him. He had already alerted the police officials about the plans to kill him as well as recce done on his movements.
Stating that he just gave reply to the comments made by the union minister, Kaushik Reddy said that the law and order situation in Karimnagar was not under control.
BJP leaders attacked the MLA camp office along with sticks, knives and petrol bombs. The attack was done for questioning the gun culture brought to Karimnagar and not arresting the burglars.
Was it a mistake to say that it was not proper on the part of the union minister to make derogatory comments against the BRS working president KT Rama Rao? He questioned.
He was ready to apologize if it was proved that he made provocative statements. What was the situation of the common public if there was no security for the MLA. With this incident, it was proved that both Revanth Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar have nexus, he said.
