Hyderabad: Coming down heavily on the State government for its 14-month misrule, BRS leader and MLC K Kavitha on Saturday voiced concern over the issues of the farmers facing the risk of displacement by the Regional Ring road project. She demanded Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to take immediate action to address the farmers’ grievances.

On her way to attend the BC Round Table conference in Khammam, she received a warm welcome at Choutuppal by former MLA Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy and BRS party members.

Speaking to media persons on the occasion, she pointed out that MLA Rajagopal Reddy was also neglecting the farmers affected by the Regional Ring Road project. She said Rajagopal Reddy has got the responsibility to take up the issue by involving himself actively in the issue to help the farmers. Despite the assurances given by the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to the farmers, she claimed that none of the promises were kept. She assured the farmers that the BRS party would continue to fight for their genuine issues and ensure justice.
