Kavitha offers Bonam at Lingamanthula Jathara, prays for Telangana’s prosperity

Suryapet: BRS MLC K Kavitha on Tuesday offered Bonam at the grand Peddagutta Lingamanthula Swamy Jathara and prayed for the welfare and prosperity of the people of the state. She joined the devotees in the ritual worship of the deity and highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting Telangana’s traditions.
Accompanied by former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, former MP Lingayya Yadav, and other prominent leaders, Kavitha visited the temple and recalled the contributions made during K Chandrasekhar Rao’s tenure for its development, including the allocation of Rs.14 crore for the development of the temple and its surroundings.
The State has been organizing it as the second-largest festival in Telangana after the Sammakka Sarakka Jathara. Kavitha highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting Telangana’s traditions and urged the government to ensure that all necessary amenities were provided to the devotees attending the festival.
