Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha firmly rebutted the targeted misinformation campaign against her, asserting that her focus remains on strengthening the party.

On her recent vocal support for ‘Samajika Telangana’ (social justice in Telangana), she stated that she was only reflecting the voices of people she met during her tour of 47 constituencies and the prevailing conditions in the State.

In an informal interaction with media here, Kavitha said people’s trust in the BRS is growing and hence, deliberate attempts were being made to spread falsehoods about her. She ridiculed the rumourmongers who are alleging that there was an internal rift in the party leadership.

“Isn’t it enough that I was made to suffer in jail for six months? Do you want to make me suffer more?” she asked the peddlers of misinformation.

She stated that she was aware of those spreading rumours against her with malicious intentions and vowed to expose them at appropriate time.

“When the time comes, everything will come out. I hope the party responds to this misinformation,” she remarked. She warned to respond with greater force and intensity if provoked any further.
