KB Asifabad continues to excel in Intermediate second year

Kumram Bheem Asifabad secured third place in Telangana Intermediate second year results with 82.16 pass percentage. While Nirmal and Mancherial showed improvement, Adilabad recorded a decline. Girls outperformed boys across all districts

Adilabad: Kumram Bheem Asifabad district stood in the third spot in the results of Intermediate second year in Telangana by securing 82.16 pass percentage. The results of Intermediate first and second years were announced on Sunday.

As per the results, 3,077 students passed in the Intermediate second year out of the total 3,745 students who appeared for the annual examinations in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district, reflecting a pass percentage of 82.16 as against 79.52 per cent in 2025. Girls outperformed boys by scoring 88.93 per cent pass. As many as 1,912 girls and 1,165 boys were among those who cleared all subjects.


Result

In Nirmal district, 3,885 students passed out of the total 5,291 students who appeared for the examinations, posting a pass percentage of 73.43. The performance of the district has gone up slightly as against 70.87 per cent recorded in 2025. Girls were 2,442, while 1,443 were boys. The girls outshone boys by securing 82.48 per cent pass as compared to 61.46 per cent by their counterparts.

Similarly, 3,396 students cleared all the subjects out of the total 4,741 students who took the final examinations in Mancherial district, showing a pass percentage of 71.63 as against 67.85 per cent in 2025. Among the students who passed, 2,055 were girls and 1,341 were boys. The girls fared better than boys by registering 78.92 per cent pass as compared to 62.75 per cent recorded by boys.

In the meantime, Adilabad district’s performance declined, with 4,699 students passing out of the total 7,518 students, indicating a pass percentage of 62.50 as against 69.57 per cent in 2025. Girls outperformed boys by securing 73.68 per cent pass. As many as 2,852 girls and 1,847 boys were among those who cleared all subjects.

Intermediate officials said that steps would be taken to improve the academic performance of the district by laying special focus on students.
