Hyderabad: This Shandaar Shukravar episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ keenly observed the problems faced by a married man and host Amitabh Bachchan, being one himself, also shared some instances of the plight of a married man at the hands of his wife.
As one of the most adorable couples of Bollywood – Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh were the guests for this week and the celebrity trio addressed some very regular problems that persists between any married couple. And to test Big B’s experience of his 48-year-old marriage life, Genelia posed a few questions which also left Amitabh in a tricky place.
In the questioning session, Genelia quizzed about how a man should react when his wife says she is fine, doesn’t want a gift for her birthday and so on to which Amitabh said it is always the opposite and that the wife wants you to ask her what happened if she says she is fine and also wants a gift and a celebration if she denies. He also quizzed Genelia as to why women can’t just say it straight about what they want instead of testing the man.
As a suggestion to Riteish Deshmukh, Amitabh asked him to never forget some important dates (which men usually tend to forget) like marriage days, birthdays and so on to avoid any argument with wife. In another funny instance, he also suggested Riteish to always remember to compliment the wife.
However, in the episode, Riteish also did leave any opportunity to appreciate his wife Genelia and how she gets happier even for the minimalistic things in life. He also sang a song and recited a sher using many of Big B’s prominent dialogues from his films.
In the game, the couple won Rs 25,00,000 which will be donated to Impact, a programme by Tata Memorial Foundation as an aid to the ones suffering with paediatric cancer. In the end, the couple and also Amitabh promised to add some amount from their end for the cause.
