KBR Park traffic diversion: Steel flyovers, underpasses under construction at seven junctions

Flyover and underpass construction works around Hyderabad’s KBR Park are progressing rapidly, with earth excavation underway at several locations. GHMC is developing structures at seven key junctions, while traffic police have announced a one-way system to manage traffic during construction.

Hyderabad: As earth excavation works of steel flyovers and underpasses around the KBR Park continued at a brisk pace, traffic cops announced one-way traffic around the KBR Park at the heart of the city.

The GHMC has taken up the flyovers and underpasses works at seven key locations, including Jubilee Hills Check Post, KBR Park Entrance Junction, Jubilee Hills Road No 45 Junction, Film Nagar Junction, Maharaja Agrasen Island Junction, Indo-American Cancer Hospital Junction and Mugdha Traffic Junction (Towards Sagar Society) around the KBR Park.


According to officials, a four-lane steel flyover and underpass will be from Jubilee Hills Checkpost towards Mugdha junction, along with a Y-shaped underpass connecting Road No 45, Jubilee Hills, to KBR Park and Yousufguda.

A two-lane underpass will be from Maharaja Agrasen Island junction towards Road No 45 Jubilee Hills Junction, and a two-lane flyover from Film Nagar junction towards Maharaja Agrasen Island junction.

Two-lane underpasses will also come up between Maharaja Agrasen Island junction and the Indo-American Cancer Hospital junction. Another two-lane flyover will be from Maharaja Agrasen Island junction towards Road No 10, Banjara Hills (Indo-American Cancer Hospital).
