Medak: Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran has said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao came up with Kalayana Lakshmi scheme since he understood the pain of poor people in the State when they perform their daughters’ marriages.
Addressing a gathering after distributing Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to 53 beneficiaries in Tekmaml on Monday, the Andole MLA has said that no BJP or Congress ruled governments were offering such benefits to support the parents of the girl children in the rest of the country. Kranthi Kiran has said that KCR Kits is also encouraging the people to visit government hospitals.
Saying that the Telangana government introduced schemes have become a source of inspiration for rest of the nation, he has said that many State governments and Centre have copied the Telangana government’s schemes such as Rythu Bandu. Hailing the Chief Minister as a visionary, Kranthi Kiran has said that he is at least five to six years ahead in thinking when compared to his contemporary Chief Ministers and Union government. He has appealed to the people to plant saplings on the eve of the Chief Minister’s birthday on February 17. Kranthi Kiran has also launched the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) membership drive.
