Hyderabad: Telangana BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday said the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s tiradet against the BJP and the Centre was only to divert the attention of people from the government’s failures.

Responding to Chief Minister’s remarks during his press conference here, Sanjay said he was ready to get an appointment of the Prime Minister for a debate on the development works taken up by the Centre in the last eight years.

“Is the Chief Minister ready for a debate?” he said. Referring to the demand of the Chief Minister for a new Constitution, Sanjay said the former humiliated Chief Architect of the Indian Constitution BR Ambedkar. When several countries appreciated the Indian Constitution, the Chief Minister was demanding for a new Constitution.

“How is it justified?” he asked. Explaining in detail about the allocations made to the agriculture sector by the Central government, Sanjay found fault with the State government for lifting procurement centres. He criticized the State government for failing to supply free urea to the farmers.

He asked as why several employees committed suicide if the G.O.317 was correct and added that the Central government took necessary steps to contain the spread of Covid-19.

The Centre gave Covid free vaccines to the people.
