KCR condoles demise of former MLA Kommidi Narsimha Reddy
BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao condoled the demise of former Bhongir MLA and Telangana movement fighter Kommidi Narsimha Reddy, recalling his role in the Telangana movement, Bhoodan movement, Musi conservation efforts and service to society.

Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao condoled the demise of Telangana movement fighter and former Bhongir MLA Kommidi Narsimha Reddy, recalling his contributions to the Telangana movement and public life. Calling him a man of the people, the BRS chief said Narsimha Reddy stood as an example of simplicity, integrity and honesty throughout his political career.
He said the veteran leader had distributed hundreds of acres of his own land to the poor during the Bhoodan movement and had actively participated in the 1969 Telangana agitation.
Chandrashekhar Rao also remembered Narsimha Reddy’s efforts towards the conservation of the Musi River and his advocacy for securing Godavari River waters for Telangana. Stating that his services to society and the Telangana cause were irreplaceable, the BRS chief conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for them to find the strength to bear the loss.
