KCR extends Christmas greetings to people of Telangana
BRS president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao extended Christmas greetings to the people of Telangana, emphasising the teachings of Jesus Christ as a path of peace, forgiveness, and sacrifice.

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao extended warm Christmas wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Jesus Christ’s birth anniversary.
In his message, K. Chandrashekhar Rao highlighted the teachings of Jesus Christ, describing them as a remarkable path of non-violence, peace as well as forgiveness even towards sinners, patience, endurance, and selfless sacrifice for the betterment of human society.
He recalled the achievements of the BRS government during its decade-long rule, stating that numerous development and welfare programmes were implemented for Christian minorities serving as a role model for the entire country. He also reminded that it was the BRS administration which introduced the secular tradition of officially celebrating Christmas as a state event.
Praying to Jesus Christ for liberation from oppression and to fill the lives of the people of the state with light and prosperity, he conveyed his heartfelt greetings to all citizens on this festive occasion.
