KCR extends Diwali greetings to people of Telangana

He said the festival marks the celebration of victory of good over evil, bringing light into lives of people by driving away darkness.

Hyderabad: Former Chief Minister and BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao extended greetings to people of Telangana on the occasion of Diwali festival being celebrated on Thursday.

He said the festival marks the celebration of victory of good over evil, bringing light into lives of people by driving away darkness.


Chandrashekhar Rao said the festival of lights spreads the philosophy of removing ignorance and lit up the lamps of knowledge, to take the step forward with renewed vigour.

Reminding that Diwali has a special place in Hindu culture, he wished that people of Telangana life with prosperity and wellness.
