KCR extends International Women’s Day Wishes to women of Telangana

Hyderabad: Hailing the strength and sacrifices of women, BRS president K. Chandrashekhar Rao extended his heartfelt wishes to the women of the State on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
He acknowledged the significant role played by women in creating the nation’s wealth and emphasised that the strengthening of family systems owed much to their sacrifices. Chandrashekhar Rao highlighted that women, overcoming numerous challenges, were playing a decisive role alongside men in today’s society. He stated that given opportunities, women could prove their capabilities.
Chandrashekhar Rao highlighted the various programmes implemented during the ten-year BRS rule for uplifting women in the State. He mentioned that these initiatives had contributed to women’s empowerment, focusing on their health, protection, and welfare.
He reiterated that women were central to the execution of these schemes and that their participation has been crucial to Telangana’s progress. Chandrashekhar Rao urged the continuation of this spirit, emphasising the importance of women’s empowerment for the State’s further development.
